Position Summary: The Controller is responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the company in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. This position is responsible for the direct supervision of the accounting inventory management and human resources departments.
Position Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization’s fiscal function and performance
- Participate in the development of the businesses plans and programs as a strategic partner
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action
- Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the CEO, the Board and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities

Responsibilities Include:
- Lead initiatives and strategies, consistent with a short and long-term business development program
- Identify and develop relationships with clients, prospects and industry professionals to generate business opportunities

- Attend industry events and other meetings to stay abreast of market conditions, competition, and establish relationships with existing clients and prospects

SENIOR ESTIMATOR - CONSTRUCTION

JOB OVERVIEW:
As a Senior Estimator you will be responsible for coordinating preconstruction services and preparing overall project estimates from conceptual budgets to full cost estimates for private commercial projects in the industrial, office, healthcare, retail and hospitality markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform pre-construction services, providing construction estimates, preliminary project schedules, constructability reviews, cost models, etc. over various phases of a project.
- Prepare estimates with the proper level of detail for all design stages: Conceptual, Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents.
- Prepare estimates of probable costs of materials, labor and equipment, and subcontracts for construction projects based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings and specifications
- Prepare and tabulate quantity survey and price based on historic cost data and vendor cost quotations.
- Assist in the preparation of studies, materials and methods, recommendations, and relative cost estimates as required.
- Solicit subcontractor and vendor quotations utilizing Building Connected, evaluate scope and determine any deficits (i.e. exclusions, incomplete scopes, etc.) compared with like quotations and estimate requirements.
- Responsible for identifying possible cost saving opportunities and/or risk items that will occur on various projects.
- Manage the preparation and coordination of bid documents, production, subcontractor and vendor pricing, and project turnover to Project Manager.
- Reviews drawings and bid requirements thoroughly to analyze project needs to perform detailed cost estimates.
- Develops RFIs and clarifications and ensure adequate subcontractor coverage.
- Maintain open communication and good working relationship with project manager, superintendent, engineer, architect, and management team

Project Superintendents must have a sense of urgency and ability to multi-task, but not compromise the safety of anyone.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversight of field operations.
• Ensure all personnel on site are working safe at all times.
• Coordination of subcontractors and their project scopes.
• Cooperate with project team to manage project finances.
• Project scheduling including three-week projection schedules.
• Submittal reviews, including tracking of long lead items.
• Implementation of Renaissance Companies’ quality and safety program on projects.
• Establish and maintain team member relationships and priorities as required to achieve project goals.

- Manage RFI process including the distribution, logging and progress tracking of the RFI process
ensuring timely processing so as not to delay progress of the work. - Manage submittal process including distribution, submittal review to insure conformance with
project requirements, logging and progress tracking of the RFI process ensuring timely processing
so as not to delay progress of the work. - Create and distribute meeting minutes for project owner, subcontractor and safety meetings
including timely distribution to appropriate team members. - Maintain and update the project schedule weekly.
- Maintain project document log and insure that most current design documents are being
incorporated into project construction. - Utilize VDC/BIM technology to help coordinate between project team members (design team, subcontractors, owner).
- Manage the closeout process including asbuilts, operation and maintenance manuals, warranties and other project and job specific required items.
